Job Summary

As the Director of Epic EHR Training at LevelUP HCS, you will oversee the coordination and execution of Epic electronic health records (EHR) and associated third-party information system training. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and effectively communicate training policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training programs to meet the needs of healthcare professionals and staff.
  • Manage the role analysis process to identify training needs and oversee all aspects of classroom administration for Epic-led virtual training sessions.
  • Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.
  • Collaborate with clinical and business unit leaders, physicians, senior executives, and IT managers to develop relationships with professional organizations, user groups, and industry trade groups.
  • Ensure all employees are sufficiently trained to carry out their duties and evaluate employee job performance, provide feedback, and complete annual performance assessments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, IT management, software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, computer information systems (IS), applied engineering, health information management (HIM), health informatics, nursing informatics, nursing, health science, education, business administration, healthcare, or a related field.
  • Seven years' relevant experience, including five years' leadership experience and previous experience in leading or coordinating Epic EHR training programs, particularly in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare clinical and operational workflows.
