Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CDL Tanker/Swing Driver to join our team at GFL Environmental. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tanker or swing truck on assigned routes to service customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Tanker or Swing Truck: Safely operate a tanker or swing truck on assigned routes to collect waste and provide excellent customer service.
  • Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Complete daily reports, route sheets, and other documentation as required by management.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety standards, regulations, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • CDL B License: Possess a valid CDL B license with a clean driving record.
  • Tanker Endorsement: Hold a valid tanker endorsement and have Hazmat certification (highly desired).
  • Manual Transmission: Be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
