Medical Billing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Billing Specialist to join our team, providing high-quality billing services to member clinics. This role focuses on payor follow-up and denial management, recognizing potential high-risk accounts, and developing techniques to improve collections and streamline processes.
The ideal candidate will have 1 year of progressive experience in a similar or relevant role, with a strong understanding of medical terminology, EPIC experience, and knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, MVA, Workers Comp, and private insurance billing and reimbursement processes.
As a Remote Employee, you will work independently from a home office environment with high-speed internet service. You will be required to maintain complete and accurate billing and accounts receivable records, establish and maintain positive working relationships with patients, payers, team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
We offer a comprehensive range of benefits and a competitive salary. The typical offer range for this role is $21.86-$26.23 per hour, with the midpoint representing the average pay in a national market scope for this position.
