Job Overview

This position is temporary with the potential for full-time employment.

  • 1st shift – 6:30 AM to 3:10 PM – Monday through Friday
  • Compensation: $24.25/hour
  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED - employment verification will be conducted.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a shipping or logistics role.
  • Forklift and pallet jack certifications are required; additional in-house safety training will be provided.
  • A valid California driver's license is essential, along with proof of personal vehicle insurance and compliance with company insurance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and transport materials to the production area for filling, labeling, and packaging using a pallet jack and forklift.
  • Lift, carry, and accurately count cases to fulfill orders.
  • Efficiently organize and palletize cases in designated locations.
  • Safely operate the pallet wrapper, forklift, and pallet jack while adhering to safety protocols and workplace guidelines.
  • Load and unload shipments in a safe and efficient manner, which may involve working in confined spaces.
  • Communicate any issues or concerns to the Shipping Manager.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Occasionally use a company vehicle to transport supplies and materials as directed.

Location: Vista, CA
Pay: $24.25/hr
