Requirements:

  • Intermediate-level surfing experience or higher.
  • Ability to swim and dive, with a valid lifeguard training certification.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate surfing techniques and provide clear guidance.
  • Ability to read wave patterns and anticipate potential accidents or collisions.
  • Customer service experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in operating iPads and touchscreens according to facility procedures.
  • Track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift longboards, SUPs, and meet minimum lifeguard certification requirements.
  • Ability to act quickly and efficiently with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to operate a waterproof camera.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current lifeguard certification.
  • Previous full-time job experience.
  • Background in lifeguarding or surf instruction.
