Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Printer Technician to join our team in Newburyport, MA. As a key member of our printing operation, you will be responsible for exposing plates conventionally or digitally, ensuring high-quality prints that meet customer specifications and company standards.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate plate processors and other equipment to prepare plates for printing.
  • Inspect plates and proofs to ensure adherence to quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Deliver plates to the pressroom for printing and perform various maintenance activities as needed.

You will work closely with our manufacturing management team to achieve company goals, including customer satisfaction and profitability. Proficiency in the use of the Hagen data collection system is required, and you must be able to display consistency and accuracy in meeting data collection requirements.

Requirements
  • A minimum of one year of experience in the printing industry.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent vision, including color perception, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
