Job Summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic care and support to patients, including vital sign taking and assistance with daily living activities.
  • Work under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse and follow established policies and procedures.
  • Develop strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in continuing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant by the State of Maine and registration on the State of Maine Registry.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to follow instructions and complete standard forms.
  • Basic arithmetic calculations and simple problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
