Weekend Nursing Supervisor

At Childress Healthcare Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to oversee the day-to-day nursing functions of our facility. As a Weekend RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a team of Certified Nursing Assistants and providing nursing care to residents as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with established standards and regulations.

• Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff, including scheduling, orienting new staff, and providing feedback and coaching as needed.
• Nursing Care: Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and developing and implementing individualized care plans.
• Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and resident satisfaction.
• Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.

• Education and Licensure: Current RN licensure in the state of Texas and a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Leadership and Management: Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and coordinating the activities of nursing staff.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
