Position Summary

As an EpicCare Beacon Implementation Specialist, your primary role will be to facilitate the deployment, enhancement, and continuous support of the EpicCare Beacon module within our healthcare framework. You will engage with healthcare professionals, IT experts, and various stakeholders to optimize the integration of the Beacon module into our operational processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and relevant stakeholders to pinpoint areas for enhancing the functionality of the EpicCare Beacon module.
  • Work alongside the project team to set up and execute the Beacon module along with associated workflows.
  • Acquire and maintain a deep understanding of the Beacon module and other pertinent clinical applications.
  • Offer user support and resolve issues related to the Beacon module.
  • Create educational materials and conduct training sessions for healthcare providers and end-users.
  • Engage in testing new features and updates to the Beacon module.
  • Partner with technical teams to guarantee the optimal operation and accessibility of the Beacon module.
  • Contribute to the formulation of policies and procedures governing the use of the Beacon module.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in healthcare, information technology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience with the EpicCare Beacon module.
  • Familiarity with clinical workflows and processes in a hospital environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to function independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • EpicCare Beacon certification is preferred.
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and Meaningful Use.
