This position is responsible for ensuring all procedures are followed to achieve the highest level of productivity in the most cost-efficient manner possible while maintaining customer specifications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management and be able to lead a team to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train and develop employees to achieve their maximum quality and productivity performance.
- Plan and schedule manpower, materials, and equipment to optimize departmental policies and procedures.
- Manage employee performance, providing regular feedback and coaching.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality throughout the department.
- Investigate areas for quality improvement, cost reduction, and process optimization.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a production environment.
- Poultry or food industry experience preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of 20+ employees.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Education:
High School Diploma/GED; College degree in a related field preferred.
