Production Worker

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Worker to join our team at Europastry. As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for conducting various production functions, including setting up bread and rolls, packaging frozen and baked products, and operating machinery in the packing department.

• Perform various jobs in the bread process, such as orienting bread prior to entering the blast freezers.
• Inspect rolls or bread products and place them in specified order in preparation for entry into blast freezers.
• Weigh product and report any inconsistencies to the lead packer or Packing supervisor.
• Properly label boxes according to product specifications.
• Inspect product for open seams or inconsistency in product.
• Fabricate and assemble boxes by inserting through a sealing machine.
• Alert direct supervision of any complications that may arise.
• Insert plastic liners in boxes and place them on conveyors or rollers.
• Rotate with other workers within the department.
• Inspect product for nonconforming product (shape, sizes, weight, color, appearance) or any inconsistencies in finish product.
• Inspect products for open seams or any inconsistencies in product and remove nonconforming product.
• Perform various jobs in the bread process, such as orienting bread by slicers; working in bagging or packaging area.
• Inspect defective products or boxes.
• Work as a team to help co-workers when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Contribute to a continuous improvement culture.
• Attend company scheduled meetings when applicable.
• Inform direct supervision of any problems or complications that may arise.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
