This is a per diem opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Care Technician in the Intensive Care Unit at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.
About the Role:As a Clinical Care Technician, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary care team, providing direct patient care activities that take into account the specific needs of patients related to their age and culture. Your role will involve enhancing and ensuring patient and family-centered care and satisfaction, as well as performing various clinical activities with accuracy and efficiency under the guidance and direction of the Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities:- Participate in the assessment of patient needs and patient/family education needs consistent with your personal knowledge base.
- Communicate with the healthcare team to help solve priority problems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Completion of a Patient Care Tech program.
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association only.
- Effective communication skills and basic math skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Completion of an Associate's degree in a related field.
