Responsibilities- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders and develop individualized therapy plans to address these needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate speech and language goals into students' educational plans and ensure seamless communication.
- Case Load Management: Manage a moderate case load of diverse students with varying communication needs, prioritizing their needs and developing effective treatment plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, progress, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards, ensuring compliance and transparency.
- SLP Requirements: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and valid Illinois SLP license.
- CFY Requirements: Currently enrolled in or completed a Master's program in Speech-Language Pathology and eligible for Illinois Speech-Language Pathology licensure.
