Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant in North Chicago, IL. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating students with communication disorders, collaborating with teachers and support staff to develop individualized therapy plans, and maintaining accurate records of assessments and progress.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders and develop individualized therapy plans to address these needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate speech and language goals into students' educational plans and ensure seamless communication.
  • Case Load Management: Manage a moderate case load of diverse students with varying communication needs, prioritizing their needs and developing effective treatment plans.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, progress, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards, ensuring compliance and transparency.
Qualifications
  • SLP Requirements: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and valid Illinois SLP license.
  • CFY Requirements: Currently enrolled in or completed a Master's program in Speech-Language Pathology and eligible for Illinois Speech-Language Pathology licensure.
