Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Emergency Room Nurse to join our team at Becker Health for a 13-week assignment. As a key member of our emergency department, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in emergency nursing, with a focus on large ED environments
  • Active NM or compact license
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or client
  • EPIC EMR experience preferred
  • Ability to pass BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmia) testing during the first week of assignment
Work Schedule

This is a 12-hour Night shift position, with shift lengths that may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. Call requirements include one 8-hour call shift every six weeks, with floating requirements and weekend shifts also expected.

Benefits
  • Negotiable guaranteed hours, between 36 and 48
  • Orientation includes EPIC training, not to exceed 40 total hours
  • SCRUBS: For RNs ONLY (does not apply to OR as those are provided), RNs may wear ANY solid color, with the scrub top, pant, and jacket (if worn) must be the same solid color to match
