Job Title: Supply & Demand Planner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply & Demand Planner to join our team at SEB Professional North America. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for leading and developing the supply and demand planning process to ensure optimal stock levels, high customer service levels, and minimal stockouts and overstocking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, service, and marketing, to ensure optimal supply and demand planning process and 12-month rolling forecast.
  • Participate in monthly demand review and S&OP meetings to analyze and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Work with the demand and supply manager to proactively identify and address potential gaps in the business plan, ensuring budget targets are met in terms of net sales, inventories, and customer service levels.
  • Ensure stock availability and provide reliable estimated time of arrival (ETA) to internal stakeholders.
  • Manage purchase orders, track inbound shipments, and perform master data management duties as assigned.
  • Escalate stock availability issues with suppliers and factories, and manage allocations and reservations of stock.
  • Work with the demand manager to develop and implement strategies to meet KPIs and objectives, including proposals for continuous improvement.
  • Manage safety stock, lead times, customer and supplier collaboration, and SLOBS (obsolete and slow movers) to ensure the right level of stock availability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics or supply chain management preferred, but experience can be substituted for a degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a planning role, with a strong sense of urgency and customer-centricity.
  • Strategic long-term vision, combined with the ability to take calculated risks.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercial and business awareness.
  • Team player with a LEAN mindset, able to see opportunities rather than problems.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • SAP experience.

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $87,000 DOE, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) program with a 9% employer contribution, on-site gym, life insurance, and 12 paid holidays.
