Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in evaluating, directing, planning, and providing occupational therapy treatment to patients of all ages with a wide variety of disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to identify their occupational therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans to help them achieve maximum functional independence.
  • Direct and plan occupational therapy treatment to help patients develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and work.
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and patient homes.
  • Document patient care and treatment results in a timely and accurate manner to ensure compliance with departmental and regulatory policies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and to promote a culture of excellence within the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited ACOTE program and completion of clinical rotations.
  • Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist by the state of employment.
  • BLS certification before orientation completion.
