Responsibilities:
- Assist the RN in preparing the OR room, including cleaning, prepping, and mopping as needed.
- Provide exceptional patient care, including assisting with patient positioning, preparing equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical experience.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in an acute care facility, with a focus on vascular surgery.
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA).
- AHA BLS certification.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with specialty equipment, including infusion pumps, ultrasound machines, and robotic systems.
- Knowledge of vascular surgery procedures and protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
