Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator II to join our team at Thorlabs. This is a part-time position with an estimated annual salary of $60,000.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in planning, forecasting, and inventory management. Key duties include purchasing inventory and non-inventory items and services, reducing costs and improving processes, identifying and qualifying new vendors, and performing ongoing vendor evaluations.

This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under general supervision. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position and be proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
