Machine Operators play a crucial role in the manufacturing process at Shapco Inc.   • Safely initiate and halt machine operations without supervision.
  • Handle the placement of raw materials and the removal of finished products from machinery.
  • Continuously monitor machine performance and operation.

  • Assist in the upkeep and repair of machinery as needed.
  • Employ various tools and equipment to facilitate the manufacturing process.
  • Conduct regular equipment checks and address any arising issues.
  • Supervise machine functions while performing tasks and make adjustments to enhance output.
  • Produce components that meet manufacturing goals and timelines as directed by management.
  • Document all machine activities and maintain accurate logs of produced items.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • A willingness to learn and improve performance in essential duties is required.
  • A high school diploma or GED is necessary; relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of formal education.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Preferred Skills
  • Prior experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of various manufacturing tools and equipment, including but not limited to lathes, CNC machines, and other mechanical devices.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy items, bend, and remain on feet for extended durations.
  • Flexibility to work shifts that may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, or overtime as required.
