General Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in English; Spanish language skills are advantageous
  • Ability to stand and lift heavy items for prolonged periods
  • Capacity to follow directions and lift weights up to 45 lbs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery to achieve specified package lengths
  • Manage spark-tester settings
  • Ensure accurate tagging and packaging of products
  • Produce items that meet quality specifications
  • Engage in tasks such as painting and wire stripping
  • Conduct patchwork on defective materials
  • Fulfill all assigned responsibilities

Cross-Training:

  • Mandatory cross-training on equipment within your workgroup
  • May be required to substitute for absent team members post-training
  • Regular rotation to maintain skill proficiency

Quality Assurance:

  • Perform quality checks prior to product release
  • Promptly report any issues
  • Comply with safety, quality, and company standards

Safety Protocols:

  • Follow safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the workplace
  • Utilize personal protective equipment as necessary
  • Review hazard analyses and Safety Data Sheets
  • Keep work areas organized to 5S standards
  • Conduct safety inspections and hazard assessments
  • Adhere to environmental guidelines to minimize impact

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Work in diverse temperature conditions
  • Physical activities include balancing, lifting, walking, and more
