Key Responsibilities

  • Submit order entries through email or EDI
  • Manage customer service calls and respond to customer inquiries
  • Generate Backorder, TRIPI, and Allocation reports
  • Process return authorization and credit memos
  • Process EDI orders, lab samples, and freight quotes
  • Monitor truckloads and ensure timely delivery
  • Train new employees and provide ongoing support to team members
  • Cover the switchboard operator for breaks and lunches
  • Maintain a positive approach to internal and external customers and coworkers

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Minimum of two years experience in customer service required
  • Experience in computer applications and ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to accurately write or record information and communicate with coworkers, customers, and vendors
  • Detailed oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands

  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Maneuvering around the plant floor
  • Talking, hearing, handling, reaching, and feeling
  • Ability to stoop to pick up items off the floor
  • Ability to reach above head to obtain or place work-related materials
  • Ability to lift and move documents, files, and other materials
