About UtiliQuest
At UtiliQuest, we are dedicated to enhancing safety and efficiency in construction projects by locating underground utility lines. As a Utility Locator, you will be trained in essential safety protocols and techniques that are crucial for this role.
Your Responsibilities
As a Utility Locator, your primary duties will include:
- Learning and applying utility locating techniques and safety measures.
- Gaining knowledge of local utility infrastructure and regulations.
- Collaborating with seasoned locators to accurately mark underground utility lines.
- Utilizing specialized equipment for utility location.
- Documenting findings through digital mapping tools.
- Performing tasks in various weather conditions.
- Safely operating a company vehicle.
- Being available for overtime, travel, and on-call responsibilities as necessary.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
- Possession of a valid State driver's license.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 55 pounds and working in various environments.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $18 - $22 per hour, depending on experience. UtiliQuest offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
