Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians with exams, surgeries, and procedures.
- Perform diagnostic tests, including blood work, X-rays, and urinalysis.
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations.
- Monitor patients during anesthesia and recovery.
- Provide patient care including feeding, bathing, and exercising.
- Educate pet owners on preventive care and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure a clean, safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Certified Veterinary Technician preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Technician or performing technician duties.
- Proficiency in animal handling and restraint.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality patient care.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
