About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outpatient Pharmacist to join our team at Children's Mercy KC. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered services.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and dispense medication orders per physician request, adhering to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Contribute to the quality and effective operation of the department, ensuring safe, appropriate, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
  • Maintain competence required for current job title/position, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in pediatric pharmacy practice.
Qualifications
  • Other Degree in pharmacy from an accredited school and 1-2 years experience in a meds to beds program or 2 years of retail pharmacy experience.
  • Licensed Pharmacist - MO or equivalent within 90 days.
  • Licensed Pharmacist - KS or equivalent within 90 days.
