Position Overview
The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychologist Supervisor to oversee and enhance psychological services within our facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring the well-being and support of individuals with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor Psychology Assistants, fostering professional growth and development.
- Design and implement comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, counseling, and therapeutic interventions.
- Lead the Human Rights Committee to ensure ethical practices and the humane treatment of residents.
- Conduct assessments for individuals exhibiting suicidal ideation and establish necessary safety protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee high-quality care for all residents.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to protect residents.
- Provide training sessions for staff on psychological topics and best practices.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain licensure and stay current in the field.
Work Environment:
This position requires on-site presence, with work hours varying to accommodate the needs of residents.

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a valid psychology license in Ohio and have a minimum of 12 months of experience as a licensed psychologist. Experience in training or supervising psychology students or assistants is also required.

Strong abilities in behavioral health, data analysis, and management, along with excellent collaboration and confidentiality skills.
