Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Boyd Corporation. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for managing new product development teams, designing innovative thermal solutions, and writing proposals to win new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products, ensuring cost, performance, and schedule goals are met.
- Design and develop heat exchangers, cold plates, and other value-added assemblies to provide differentiated thermal solutions for our customers.
- Write compelling proposals to secure new business opportunities and expand our market share.
- Develop and execute verification test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.
- Write detailed test procedures and engineering reports to document our design and testing processes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in product development.
- Experience with computational fluid dynamics and finite element analysis tools to design and optimize our thermal solutions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively collaborate with our teams and communicate with customers.
- Experience in the aerospace or military product development industry, with a strong understanding of the regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- A working knowledge of metal forming, joining, and heat treating processes to design and develop our products.
Desired Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience in designing heat exchangers or related thermal management products.
