About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at IntelyCare. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide high-quality care to residents in post-acute facilities, working closely with medical staff and residents to ensure their needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to residents, including measuring and monitoring vital signs, reporting to your supervisor as necessary
  • Observe residents during your shift, reporting any concerns to the broader nursing team
  • Serve meals to residents and assist with feeding as needed
  • Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting
  • Clean and sanitize surfaces, keep residents' rooms clean, change linens, and ensure a hygienic environment
  • Communicate with medical staff, residents, and family members to ensure seamless care
  • Move residents in and out of wheelchairs and beds, and reposition them as needed
  • Offer a compassionate ear to residents and provide valued companionship
Requirements
  • Current Connecticut Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Understanding of nursing care procedures and related medical terminology
  • Effective organization skills and ability to communicate with medical professionals, residents, and family members
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • High level of attention to detail
