Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team at USA Clinics Group. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing vascular ultrasound examinations and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations to create accurate Venous Flow Maps for treatment planning purposes.
  • Collaborate with physicians to explain treatment plans and ensure patient understanding.
  • Ensure procedure rooms, exam rooms, and ultrasound rooms are properly prepared and cleaned before and after each patient.
  • Perform additional ultrasound examinations as required by treatment plans to ensure patient safety and effectiveness.
  • Adhere to standard time allotments for each type of ultrasound exam to maintain efficient patient flow.
  • Work with office staff, administrative staff, and physicians to review ultrasound schedules and ensure availability of ultrasound technicians for timely patient care.
  • Develop and maintain quality of work and skills through continued education and interaction with other ultrasound technologists.
  • Manage equipment and supply inventory to ensure continued effective operations.
Requirements
  • Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program.
  • Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS) or ability to earn certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to work well in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work as part of a team.

Required specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
