Staff Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Nurse to join our team at Luminis Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the provision of cost-effective healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Decision Making/Judgment
- Utilize clinical nursing knowledge and skill to provide effective patient care.
- Apply the nursing process to assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care.
- Organize and prioritize patient care activities to ensure efficient and effective care.
- Nurse-Patient Family Relationships
- Develop and implement teaching plans to promote patient education and empowerment.
- Provide direct patient care that is culturally, developmentally, and ethically appropriate.
- Plan care that addresses the physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and learning needs of patients and families.
- Clinical Scholarship
- Participate in quality improvement, risk management, and other initiatives to promote safe patient care and a safe practice environment.
- Support the use of evidence-based guidelines and organizational policies to promote safe patient care.
- Clinical Leadership
- Participate in unit shared governance and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Delegate patient care activities to other team members and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse by the Maryland Board of Nursing.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
