Logistics and Transportation Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Logistics and Transportation Trainee to join our team at US Foods, Inc.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for attending a training program to achieve a CDL permit and eventually a Class A CDL license, while supporting US Foods drivers in completing their routes.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn and develop their skills in logistics and transportation.

• Attend a comprehensive training program to obtain a CDL permit and Class A CDL license
• Support experienced drivers in completing their routes and ensuring timely delivery of products
• Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure the satisfaction of customers
• Comply with all safety regulations and company policies

• Must be at least 21 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic math skills and ability to work with money collected from customers
• Successful completion of DOT written examination and controlled substance abuse screening test

• Minimum one year of experience operating heavy motor vehicle equipment or working as a warehouse selector
