Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in providing professional and nonprofessional nursing care services. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs in accordance with physician orders.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on patient assessments.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, utilizing appropriate resources and referrals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and maintain awareness of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
- Massachusetts RN Licensure.
- 12 Months - Less than 3 Years of RN Experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification.
- Department Specific: Certification(s) relevant to the department and the type of patient care being provided may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Physical Requirements
- Occasional lifting of 30-35 lbs and turning patients.
- Prolonged standing and walking.
- Occasional twisting, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling, sitting, kneeling, and squatting.
- Exposure to infectious disease and possible carcinogenic chemicals.
- Exposure of blood-borne pathogens.
- Requires fine manual dexterity to lift and maneuver patients.
- Requires visual and aural acuity necessary to monitor patient care.
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team.
- Knowledge of and application of the nursing process.
