Job Title: Sociology Adjunct Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Sociology Adjunct Instructor to join our team at Aiken Technical College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching sociology courses and contributing to the development of our social sciences program.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach sociology courses, including hands-on and theoretical instruction, classroom management, and administrative tasks.
  • Develop and maintain current course syllabi for courses taught.
  • Ensure that courses are taught in accordance with established syllabi.
  • Recommend instructional materials and laboratory facilities/equipment for assigned courses.
  • Supervise students.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Sociology or a Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Sociology.
