Job Title: Registered Dietitian

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team in Vacaville, CA. The successful candidate will work with inmates in a correctional facility, providing expert nutrition advice and support.

Job Description:

• The Registered Dietitian will provide individual and group treatment and social casework for residents/clients and families, as well as plan dietary intervention and strategies.">
• They will also conduct nutrition assessments, provide nutritional counseling, and participate in committees related to nutrition, food service, and bioethics.">
• In addition, the Registered Dietitian will instruct institutional food service employees on medical diets and provide alternative food product suggestions or allowed/acceptable food substitutions as needed.">
• The ideal candidate will have 12 continuous months of experience within the last three years performing services similar in scope to those defined herein, in a public or private institution.">
• Possess and maintain while performing services current and valid registration issued by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.">
