Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at Focused Staffing Group. As a per diem LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care and assist with treatments under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
  • Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure accurate and timely care.
  • Assist in developing and implementing care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Administer medications accurately and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Educate patients and families on self-care and provide support to promote independence.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide emergency care as needed.
  • Stay current with best practices and regulations to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LPN (preferred but not required).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, with a focus on promoting dignity and respect for all individuals.
  • Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other technology to support patient care.
  • Dementia care training and experience in providing care to patients with dementia.
