Physicist Job Opportunity at Jupiter Medical Center

Jupiter Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in Palm Beach County, seeks a skilled Physicist to join its team. As a key member of the Radiation Oncology department, the successful candidate will provide physics support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Treatment planning for stereotactic radiosurgery, stereotactic body radiation therapy, external radiotherapy, and brachytherapy
  • Periodic machine calibrations, including the Accuray Cyberknife M6 unit, Varian Trilogy Unit, Liac e-IORT machine, and Nucletron HDR unit
  • Documentation of surveys, calibrations, and other required tasks
  • Membership in the Radiation Safety Committee
  • Preparation for ACR, JACHO, and ACHA audits as needed
  • Assistance in developing new projects to stay up-to-date with the latest advances in the field
Requirements:
  • M.S. in Medical Physics or a related field
  • Board certification or eligibility in Medical Physics, with a Florida License
  • Preferred experience in clinical radiation oncology physics
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
