Speech-Language Pathologist Job Summary

This role involves evaluating and managing patients with speech, language, and/or cognitive disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients' abilities and limitations to create a tailored treatment plan.
  • Develop therapy goals based on the evaluation, referral reason, and team collaboration.
  • Administer therapy according to the established plan, utilizing appropriate procedures, equipment, and techniques within the scope of practice of Speech Pathology.
  • Educate the patient and caregiver about the program's objectives, methods for achieving goals, how to perform the home program, and injury prevention strategies.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment, complete justification forms, and arrange delivery.
  • Re-evaluate patients, assess progress, and make recommendations for discharge.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

$60,000 - $80,000 per year
