Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity engineer to develop, oversee, and expand Front's security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the Application Security strategy at Front.
  • Provide ongoing security counsel for a continuous influx of new products and technologies.
  • Collaborate with various teams to enhance our defensive posture.
  • Manage and respond to submissions from our bug bounty program.
  • Conduct security evaluations on web applications, mobile platforms, and architectural frameworks.
  • Establish and uphold secure development methodologies.
  • Effectively communicate security vulnerabilities to stakeholders and engineering teams.
Required Skills and Experience
  • In-depth knowledge of threat modeling and web security vulnerabilities, along with effective mitigation strategies.
  • Experience in security systems within large-scale internet services.
  • Proven history of successfully launching and managing complex projects amidst ambiguity.
  • Proficient programming skills in dynamic languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or similar.
  • Strong grasp of fundamental internet technologies (e.g., TCP/IP).
  • Solid understanding of web and mobile application architectures.
  • Experience in large-scale cloud environments.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with AWS technologies.
  • Experience in a rapidly growing B2B SaaS environment.
Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility to work remotely within the US.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this full-time role is competitive, with a range of $164,000 - $215,000 annually, depending on individual qualifications, experience, and market conditions. In addition to base salary, employees may receive equity in the company.
