RN Supervisor 12-Hour Noc Position

Country Manor Campus is seeking a skilled RN Supervisor to oversee the operational function of the Rapid Recovery & Aquatic Center during 12-hour Noc hours. As a key member of the Nurse Management team, this individual will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of care and independence for patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to problem-solve and think critically in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
* Act as part of the Nurse Management team and on behalf of Administration during the 12 hour-NOC hours
* Oversee the overall operational function of the facility during the NOC hours
* Act as a supervisory resource for nursing and support staff when their supervisor is out of the building on night shifts
* Make routine resident visits to assess physical and emotional status and implement any required nursing interventions
* Assist patients to achieve and maintain the highest level of self-care and independence
* Maintain positive and effective communication and relationships with the patients and their families
* Communicate all pertinent information concerning resident care to Case Manager, Director of Nursing and/or Administration
* Able to problem-solve, think critically, and take immediate corrective action if patient well-being or care is in jeopardy
* Assist with orders as necessary
* Supervise all nursing staff and require them to abide by the philosophy and rules of the facility
* Communicate verbally and in writing any pertinent patient information to appropriate personnel, physician, and point of contact
* Assess patient symptoms and changes in conditions, and maintain accurate reports and documentation regarding resident status
* Perform nursing leadership functions as delegated by the DON
Qualifications:
* Must hold a current license and be in good standing as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota
* Must be CPR certified and have completed first aid training
* Must have previous experience in nursing or other healthcare/medical fields
* Experience with memory loss preferred, but not required
* Compassionate and caring demeanor
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Previous management or leadership experience preferred, but not required
