Position Overview:
As the Catering Operations Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating and overseeing catering events tailored to meet the unique requirements and expectations of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Engagement: Conduct meetings with clients to assess their catering needs, preferences, and budget limitations.
  2. Menu Development: Collaborate with culinary professionals to design personalized menus that cater to client tastes and dietary needs.
  3. Event Management: Supervise all facets of catering events, including logistics, staffing, setup, and teardown.
  4. Supplier Coordination: Communicate with vendors to ensure timely provision of food, beverages, and other essential supplies.
  5. Team Leadership: Oversee catering personnel, including chefs and service staff, ensuring they receive proper training and adhere to service excellence standards.
  6. Financial Oversight: Create and manage budgets for catering events, ensuring cost-effective solutions while upholding quality.
  7. Quality Assurance: Uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and service to consistently meet or exceed client expectations.
  8. Marketing Collaboration: Work with marketing teams to promote catering services and attract new clientele.
  9. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, along with any relevant licensing requirements.
  10. Client Relations: Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients, promptly addressing any concerns or issues.

Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent experience in hospitality management. A strong interest in sustainability and sustainable food practices is preferred. Minimum of two years of relevant experience in catering or event management is required. Candidates should possess:
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of food trends and catering industry practices.
  • Ability to engage with a diverse clientele in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Proficiency in web-based ordering systems and customer management.
  • Capability to work independently and solve problems effectively.

Preferred Skills:
Creativity in menu design and event planning. Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Familiarity with catering software and technology is advantageous.
