Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist Medication Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and make a meaningful impact on our community.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide Patient Education

Develop and deliver personalized education to patients on their medications, including proper use, potential side effects, and interactions with other drugs.

Medication Management

Work closely with healthcare providers to evaluate prescription orders, ensuring they are safe and effective for patients. Perform drug utilization reviews, identifying opportunities for improvement and documenting interventions as needed.

Supervise Pharmacy Technicians

Lead and mentor pharmacy technicians in their duties, ensuring they understand and adhere to standards of care and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with Healthcare Teams

Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Education

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited program by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).

Certifications

Current BLS/CPR certification.

Skills and Abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
