KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prioritize Health and Safety by adhering to all safety protocols and practices.
  • Operate a variety of heavy machinery, including but not limited to vacuum trucks and roll-off trucks.
  • Ensure timely and safe deliveries.
  • Prepare and manage Haz-Mat and Non-Haz manifests.
  • Maintain compliance with DOT, FMCSA regulations, daily ELD logs, timesheets, and vehicle inspections.
  • Conduct basic maintenance and cleaning of assigned vehicles.
  • Perform various custodial duties as necessary.
  • Respond to 24/7 Emergency Response calls while on standby.
  • Be prepared to work extended hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Accept additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned.
  • Participate in the Random Drug Testing Program.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Possession of a current California Class B Commercial Driver License is required; Class A is preferred.
  • Driving record must meet company standards, along with a current DMV printout.
  • Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are mandatory.
  • Completion of a 40-hour HAZWOPER training is required.
  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in operating heavy equipment is required.
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in hazardous waste management and environmental services is preferred.
  • All candidates must successfully complete pre-employment requirements, including:
    • Physical examination including drug and alcohol screening
    • Background check in compliance with local laws

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a focus on safe driving practices.
  • Thorough understanding of logistics systems.
  • Strong safety awareness.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted regularly.
  • Frequent twisting and turning of the body in various motions.
  • Regular typing and data entry tasks.
  • Exposure to varying environmental conditions and temperatures.
