Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Day Hospitalist to join our expanding team at St. Mary's Hospital. As a key member of our hospital medicine team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to hospitalized patients during the day shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care Management: Oversee and manage the care of hospitalized patients, responding promptly to changes in patient conditions and providing comprehensive assessments and treatment.
  • Procedure Performance: Perform essential inpatient procedures with adherence to safety protocols and evidence-based practices.
  • Critical Care Support: Provide coverage and management for ICU patients in collaboration with a dedicated ICU proceduralist (if applicable).
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with nursing staff, APPs, and consultants to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in electronic medical record technology.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to direct the work of others.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of $315,000 to $342,000 annually.
