Lead Dental Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Dental Assistant to join our team at NHOMS PLLC. As a key member of our oral surgery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care, sterilization procedures, and inventory management.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist chairside during a diverse range of oral surgical procedures, including those involving sedations.
  • Ensure strict compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide patients with comprehensive care instructions to enhance their overall experience and recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient charting for effective record-keeping and continuity of care.
  • Lead and motivate a dedicated team of dental assistants, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Implement and uphold quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, infection control measures, and best practices in oral surgery.
Requirements:
  • A strong motivation to learn and a genuine passion for healthcare and direct patient care.
  • Previous experience in sedation, showcasing a solid foundation in oral surgery.
  • Familiarity with Open Dental is preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications such as email and Microsoft Office.
  • CPR certification and Massachusetts Dental Assistant License are required.
