Sage Specialty Hospital (LTAC) is in search of dedicated PRN Respiratory Therapists (RT) to enhance our healthcare team. As a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and support.

Qualifications:
- Must be credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) and a graduate of an accredited AMA Respiratory Therapy program.
- Familiarity with general, rehabilitative, and restorative nursing and medical practices, as well as regulations and guidelines governing long-term care.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 12-hour shifts.
- Patient-centered approach to care.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive and proactive attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive respiratory therapeutic services, including oxygen therapy, medical gas administration, humidification, and suctioning.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient/resident procedures, organize and analyze data effectively.
- Relay pertinent patient/resident information to appropriate medical personnel.
- Provide educational support to staff regarding respiratory therapy practices.
- Demonstrate a commitment to improvement by identifying and recommending process enhancements.
- Monitor patient/resident progress and adjust respiratory care plans as necessary.
