We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sports Medicine Professional to serve as a Clinical Services Coordinator at JAG Physical Therapy. This role involves providing specialized services to athletes and organizations affiliated with our company, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.

Job Description:
  • Program Management: Establish and maintain an effective athletic training program for the contracted organization, including a functional athletic training room with an updated policies and procedures manual.
  • Event Coverage: Provide athletic trainer services for athletic events and competition.
  • Injury Assessment and Treatment: Provide first aid and injury assessment/treatment/rehabilitation/reconditioning for athletes affiliated with the contracted organization.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Athletic Training from a CAATE-approved program and be certified by the Board of Certification (BOC). A current BLS certification and licensure in the state of practice as an Athletic Trainer are also required.

Responsibilities:
  • Documentation: Document injuries, illnesses, treatments, rehabilitation, etc., in adherence with JAG PT policy and state of licensure professional practice standards.
  • Safety Protocols: Create a safe playing environment by monitoring and controlling environmental risks.
  • Community Outreach: Provide in-services and educational programs to local schools, coaches, athletes, and communities on health & fitness related topics.
  • Case Management: Act as the workers compensation case manager for any professional contracted team, submitting insurance information, facilitating referrals, tracking compensation claims, and reporting back within HIPAA/FERPA guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Athletic Training (CAATE-approved program)
  • Certification: Certified by the Board of Certification (BOC)
  • Licensure: Licensed in the state of practice as an Athletic Trainer
  • Clearance: Department of Education (DOE) clearance (if working in secondary schools and applicable in state of practice)
  • Insurance: Current BLS certification and personal liability insurance

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
