Metrology Technician Job Description

Textron is seeking a skilled Metrology Technician to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of our measurement systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform gage calibration and verification tasks to ensure measurement system accuracy
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of measurement equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve measurement-related issues
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred
  • Foundry background and experience with Gagetracker or other gage calibration systems a plus
  • Basic knowledge of MiniTab and computer experience required
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with a strong attention to detail
