Job Overview

Location: Rocky Mountain Lodge, Buckley Space Force Base, Aurora, CO.

Employment Type: This is a part-time/flexible role. Selected individuals can anticipate working 34-40 hours weekly, with shifts scheduled from Monday to Sunday, 8 AM to 4 PM. There are no overnight or swing shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness in guest accommodations, hallways, staircases, and other designated areas.
  • Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing.
  • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Sanitize kitchen appliances, utensils, and dishware.
  • Manage waste disposal and maintain cleanliness of waste receptacles.
  • Update room status and occupancy using the telephone system.
  • Ensure restrooms are cleaned and disinfected, including sinks and mirrors.
  • Report maintenance issues to supervisors.
  • Keep inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when restocking is necessary.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

No prior experience is necessary. Candidates must be able to follow basic instructions and operate lightweight cleaning equipment. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry items up to 20 pounds, and to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods. Proficiency in English is required.

Physical Demands:

This position involves light physical activity, including the use of cleaning equipment and the ability to lift and move cleaning supplies.

Additional Requirements:

Successful completion of a background investigation is mandatory for employment.
