Quality Inspector

We are seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Quality Inspector to join our team at Phantom Staffing. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products by conducting inspections and tests to verify that they meet engineering specifications.

• Inspect incoming and outgoing products and materials to ensure they meet engineering specifications.
• Use basic test and measuring equipment to verify product quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints to understand product specifications.
• Measure parts to determine if they meet print specifications.
• Choose and check the calibration of inspection equipment.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of purchased parts, tight tolerance machined parts, stamped and fabricated parts, components, assemblies, and materials.
• Generate, distribute, and file inspection reports as required.
• Document non-conforming product when detected.
• Complete all paperwork associated with the position.

• 2+ years of experience performing close/tight tolerance mechanical inspections.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Knowledge of GD&T is a plus.
• Experience with metal stamping and/or fabrication.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001.
• Strong math skills.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• Strong computer literacy.
