About the Job

As a Logistics Operations Manager at Mobis Alabama, LLC, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics department.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, experience in logistics operations, and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction to all warehouse staff (e.g. schedules, unpacking, line feeding, and housekeeping)
  • Report and control inventories daily, as well as analyze and resolve discrepancies as they arise
  • Coordinate receiving times and deliveries with suppliers and transportation companies
  • Maintain forklifts and tow motors, as well as keep accurate and up-to-date service records

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus 3 or more years of experience in a leadership position in an industrial environment AND 3 or more years of experience in a position dealing with inventory in an industrial environment
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Work Environment:

50% in office environment, 50% on production floor. Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs., traversing around production floor. 3rd Shift (10:30 pm-6:45 am). Overtime as needed. Weekend work for inventory counts approximately 1-2 times per month and during plant shutdown periods.
