Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Perioperative Registered Nurse in the PreOp PACU department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth transition from surgery to recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients preoperative and postoperative status to identify potential risks and develop individualized care plans.
  • Implement evidence-based practices to promote patient safety and comfort, including pain management and wound care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Provide education to patients and families on postoperative care and recovery processes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current state licensure.
  • One year of experience in preoperative or PACU nursing, with medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications, with PALS certification required for pediatric care.
